Welcome
Hi, I’m Delaney Melendez! I specialize in guiding TK–8 students through structured, standards-based learning experiences that strengthen foundational skills and build academic confidence. I graduated as valedictorian from San Diego Christian College in 2024 and have multiple years of experience working closely with students in one-on-one and small-group settings in various after school turtoring programs.
I create learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered. My approach combines standards-aligned instruction, skill reinforcement, and guided practice to help students master core subjects—including math, science, language arts, reading, and history—while fostering engagement, curiosity-driven exploration, and independent thinking.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, helping students develop strong study habits, improve organization, and build the confidence to tackle new challenges. Every lesson is designed to meet students where they are and help them grow academically, socially, and personally.
Services
Our small-group learning pod provides structured, collaborative instruction designed to support student learning goals and foster consistent academic routines. Sessions include:
• Reinforcement of core academic skills aligned with California state standards
• Interactive, hands-on learning and cooperative problem-solving
• Encouragement of critical thinking, engagement, and a growth mindset
• A nurturing, organized environment that promotes confidence and persistence
Subjects: Math, Science, Language Arts, Reading, History
Grades: TK–8
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Tuition: $380 per student per month (September–May)
Structured guitar class for TK–8 students designed to develop musical skills, creativity, and discipline. Students will:
• Learn fundamental guitar techniques, chords, and reading music
• Develop fine motor skills, focus, and hand-eye coordination
• Engage in structured practice routines to build persistence and confidence
• Explore creative expression while reinforcing goal-setting and practice habits
Format: Small-group or one-on-one instruction
Duration: 30 minutes per session
Price: $45 per session
Schedule: Flexible, can be combined with learning pod or offered separately
One-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Subjects: Math, Science, Language Arts, Reading, HistorySessions focus on:
• Standards-based skill reinforcement in core subjects
• Targeted instruction and guided practice to address learning gaps
• Academic organization, study skills, and independent learning strategies
• Differentiated, student-centered support to meet each learner’s unique goals
1-Hour Session: $50 (Available in-person or virtually)
